Emerging Leaders Networking Night

Emerging Leaders is the former "Young Professionals" group of local business and community leaders that are looking to make a difference in the Escondido area. Come join them for a highly engaging networking opportunity to make connections and meet other like-minded professionals. We highly encourage those under 40 attend! 

The speaker for the evening will be Lois Hoyt, current Vice President of Human Resources for the George Weir Group of Companies, (including George Weir Asphalt, Escondido Sand & Gravel, and Pacific Coast Oil Spreading). As a seasoned professional, Ms. Hoyt has over 30 years of broad-based HR experience with publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies, privately held union and non-union organizations, and not-for-profit entities.

Ms. Hoyt holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. As a result of Ms. Hoyt’s research, she has developed a deep understanding of the Millennial and Gen Z generations, including how to effectively merge multi-generations into a synergistic, transformative, and collaborative workforce.

Her topic for the night will be "EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: Finding the Keys to Organizational Success Through Emotional Intelligence Strategies"
