Escondido Fire Safe Council

The Fire Safe Council of Southwest Escondido, a non-profit organization, is a part of San Diego County’s program dedicated to increasing fire safety awareness and preparedness, managing fire hazards, and supporting forest health in Southwest Escondido.

Things we do include:

Actively promote fire safety by helping homeowners control flammable vegetation and fire-proof their property.

Improve the community’s understanding of the wild fire threat and the homeowner’s role in preserving California’s natural resources.

Exchange information and coordinate efforts with local fire prevention
