DESCRIPTION:The Chamber's Government Affairs Committee works to create and sustain a favorable business environment in which all businesses can grow and prosper through the monitoring of legislation and influencing of governmental decisions on behalf of the interests of our members. This committee provides a basis for the Chamber to act on local\, state\, and federal governmental issues and evaluate political candidates.\n\n\n\nThis month: The Greater Escondido Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome San Marcos Sheriff Captain\, Ken Jones. His department services all of the unincorporated communities surrounding Escondido\, offering critical services and assisting in countless other problem solving efforts.\n\n\n\nCaptain Jones is a lifelong San Diego resident and has been with the Sheriff's Department for over 28 years starting in 1994. Jones' work history is testament to his passion for serving his community\, especially Inland North County. He will be discussing crime trends in the area and highlighting other services offered to the community.\n\n\n\nPlease join us\, IN-PERSON\, for another important discussion about your Escondido community!
