Government Affairs Meeting w/ Tom Norwood

The Chamber's Government Affairs Committee works to create and sustain a favorable business environment in which all businesses can grow and prosper through the monitoring of legislation and influencing of governmental decisions on behalf of the interests of our members. This committee provides a basis for the Chamber to act on local, state, and federal governmental issues and evaluate political candidates.

This month: The Greater Escondido Chamber of Commerce and our Government Affairs team are proud to welcome Tom Norwood as our guest speaker. Tom has been a CPA in public practice for over 22 years.  He provides strategic and operational business tax, accounting and financial analysis and planning services to SBM’s in the Biotechnology, Biomedical Device and Specialty Foods industries.

He will be speaking on Mileage deductions, Home office deductions and reasonable salary for an S Corp.
