Protect Rural Escondido

Protect Rural Escondido is a community-based organization dedicated to preserving the rural character, environmental integrity, and quality of life of the Escondido region. Through public education, civic engagement, and collaboration with residents and local leaders, the organization advocates for balanced land use, wildlife biodiversity, sustainable and safe infrastructure, and thoughtful growth that respects the area’s agricultural heritage, rural identity, community character and long-term community interests.
