Economic Development Committee
Building a Stronger Economy and shaping Escondido's Future.
The Escondido Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee brings together business leaders, developers, community stakeholders, and public officials to discuss the opportunities, projects, and policies shaping Escondido's economic future.
Through monthly meetings featuring a different speaker and topic, attendees gain valuable insight into local development projects, business growth initiatives, workforce trends, infrastructure investments, and regional economic issues impacting our community.
This month's meeting will focus on the proposed Meyers Avenue and Hill Valley housing developments and their potential impacts on surrounding industrial businesses, air quality, and long-term economic development.
We welcome Jack Monger, CEO of the Industrial Environmental Association (IEA), along with Mahiany Luther, Deputy Director of the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District, who will provide insight into air quality considerations and potential health risks associated with residential development near industrial facilities.
Your voice matters! We encourage Chamber members, local businesses, and community stakeholders to attend, ask questions, and participate in this important conversation about Escondido's future.
